Boulder Nordic Sport Mobile Race Service Returns to Klosters for the 2024 Masters World Cup

After traveling to past Masters World Cup (MWC) races in British Columbia, Idaho, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and Norway, the BNS team is thrilled to return to Klosters, Switzerland, in 2024. Led by BNS Founder Nathan Schultz, the crew is excited to bring their expertise back to this familiar venue, having last been in Klosters in 2017. With experience at the race site and the Engadin, BNS is looking forward to a successful and enjoyable week of racing in March, 2025.

BNS Race Service at MWC

BNS has on-site waxing headquarters to provide world-class ski service to all competitors.

• Race Wax Services: Professional technicians will offer comprehensive race waxing, including:

  • Ski selection advice
  • Base wax, paraffin, powders, topcoats, and hand structure
  • Full kick wax for classic races

• Fluor-Free Transition:
  As of now, the FIS fluoro ban is in effect, and this is expected to be the first fluor-free MWC. Whether fluorinated or fluor-free waxes are permitted, BNS technicians ensure the fastest skis possible.

• BNS Mobile Service:
  Athletes can enjoy World Cup-level service while avoiding the hassle of traveling with waxing gear or waxing their skis themselves. BNS will offer race-wax services for the Engadin Ski Marathon and every race on the MWC schedule, including the relay.

• Early Registration: Save $10 per race by registering before December 20, 2024.

• The 2-pair option is for a single skier to add a second pair of skis, not skis for two separate skiers.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

BNS incurs significant costs for travel, staffing, and logistics. Therefore, this purchase is non-refundable except in the following cases:

• Serious documented injury or illness: 80% cash refund provided.
• Event cancellation prior to travel: Choice of:
  • 100% refund in BNS store credit
  • 50% cash refund
• In the case of event cancellation after we have traveled, we will provide refunds based on expenses incurred.
