Looking to explore Boulder by bike, try something different before you buy, or test Nordic equipment? We offer bike rentals and a limited selection of demo equipment from our Boulder shop.
Bike Rentals
Visiting Boulder or want to try a different style of riding? We rent a variety of bikes for exploring Boulder's roads, gravel, and trails.
Bike rentals include a helmet, a flat-repair kit, bottle cages, and a lock. Reserve ahead to make sure we have the right bike and size available for you.
If you decide to purchase a new bike within 30 days of your rental, we'll apply up to $150 in rental fees toward the purchase.
Cross-Country Ski Rentals
We do not rent cross-country ski equipment at our Boulder or Portland stores.
If you're visiting Boulder and need a complete ski rental package, we recommend renting from a local rental shop (Crystal Sports in Boulder) or from the Nordic center where you'll be skiing.
Nordic Demo Equipment
Trying equipment on snow is one of the best ways to understand how it performs. We maintain a limited selection of Nordic demo equipment at our Boulder shop so you can try selected equipment before making a purchase.
Demo inventory varies throughout the season. Please contact us before coming in so we can confirm what is currently available in your size.
Rollerski Demos
Want to try rollerskiing or compare equipment before buying? We have IDT demo rollerskis available at our Boulder shop.

Demo rollerskis are equipped with NNN-compatible bindings. You'll need to provide your own compatible boots, poles and helmet.
Because rollerski wheels wear during use, rollerski demo fees are not applied toward a subsequent purchase.
Please contact the Boulder shop in advance to reserve a pair.
Demo Days
We also host free demo events throughout the year with equipment and support from our brand partners. Nordic demo days are a great opportunity to try multiple skis, boots, and other equipment on snow and compare them back-to-back.
