New BMC Teammachine SLR01
BMC has just unveiled the new Teammachine SLR01—and it’s a game-changer. Ridden to victory at the Tour de France, Olympics, and World Championships, the SLR01 is known for its perfect balance of low weight, ride compliance, and sharp responsiveness.
This latest generation takes things even further, shedding nearly half a pound from its predecessor while preserving the seamless integration, stiffness, and comfort that ultra-light race bikes often compromise.
This isn’t just a lighter bike — it’s a complete rethinking of what a mountain-focused race machine should be. Every part of the bike was scrutinized to find ways to improve it, down to the paint. The new Teammachine SLR 01 drops 222g compared to the previous generation, without compromising stiffness or handling. Lightweight, aerodynamic, and built for the mountains.
Key updates include:
- Optimized carbon layup and refined tube profiles
- New fork and seatpost for aerodynamic gains
- Slimmer graphics for reduced weight
- Full internal cabling via ICS cockpit
- Proven geometry across all sizes (47–61)
The new Teammachine SLR 01 is available as a frameset ($4,999) or four complete builds between $8,999 to $13,649.
