Buying the right bike is only the beginning.
When you buy a bike from Boulder Nordic & Cycle Sport, you get the experience and support of a local bike shop behind it. We help you choose the right bike, professionally assemble and set it up, and keep it working.
Every new bike purchased from BNCS includes a free 30-day tune-up and lifetime adjustments.
Free Break-In Tune-Up
New bikes settle in as they're ridden.
Cables and housing can settle, spokes and bearings may need attention, and shifting or brakes that were perfectly adjusted when the bike left the shop may need a little fine-tuning after the first several rides.
That's why every new bike purchased from BNCS includes a free break-in tune-up.
Bring your bike back after you've had some time to ride it and we'll check it over, make the appropriate adjustments, and make sure everything is working the way it should.
There's no deadline. We recommend bringing it in after roughly 10–15 rides, once the bike has had a chance to settle in, but you're welcome to bring it back whenever it needs attention.
Lifetime Adjustments
Our support doesn't end after the first month.
Bikes purchased from Boulder Nordic & Cycle Sport include lifetime adjustments for the original owner.
If your shifting needs an adjustment, a brake starts rubbing, or something just doesn't feel quite right, bring the bike in, and we'll take a look.
Lifetime adjustments cover routine adjustments. Replacement parts, installation of new components, wear-related repairs, and more extensive service are not included. If your bike needs work beyond an adjustment, we'll explain what we recommend and any cost before doing the work.
Professionally Assembled & Checked
A new bike is only as good as its setup.
Every bike we sell is professionally assembled and inspected by our service department. We check the bike's critical components, adjust the brakes and shifting, and make sure it's ready to ride before it leaves the shop.
We're not handing you a bike in a box and leaving the final setup to you.
Help Getting the Bike Set Up for You
The same bike can feel very different depending on how it's set up.
We'll help you get the basic setup right for you and the way you ride. Depending on the bike, that can include things like saddle position, controls, tire pressure, and suspension setup.
If something doesn't feel right once you've spent some time riding the bike, come back and talk with us, and we'll help you get it dialed in.
Help Choosing the Right Bike
There are a lot of good bikes. The harder question is which one is right for you.
Our staff rides the same roads, trails, and gravel that you do. We can help you work through bike type, geometry, sizing, components, and price to find a bike that makes sense for where and how you actually want to ride.
Our goal is to help you leave with the perfect bike that fits you, where you ride, and your riding style.
Service After the Sale
Eventually, every bike needs service.
When you buy from BNCS, you already have a service department that knows your bike and is here when you need us.

Warranty Support
If something goes wrong with a bike or component under the manufacturer's warranty, we'll help you navigate the warranty process for bikes purchased from us.
We'll evaluate the problem, work with the manufacturer when appropriate, and help get you back on the bike.
We're Here for the Long Ride
We want you to be as happy with your bike a year from now as you are the day you take it home.
That's why buying a bike from Boulder Nordic & Cycle Sport includes more than the bike itself: knowledgeable help choosing it, professional assembly and setup, a free break-in tune-up, lifetime adjustments, and a service department that's here when you need it.
