Product Spotlight: Fischer Speedmax 2021-2022
We have a few of the previous generation Fischer Speedmax Classic and Skate skis lurking around, and they deserve to find loving homes. These are all hand-selected skis left from Covid supply-chain years and are a great option for a top-notch ski at an inexpensive price. Normally $800, they are now $499.99 for a limited time. These are a fantastic deal for anyone looking for a race ski or a top-notch training or rock ski.- Speedmax Skate Cold - A cold base and cold camber make these a great option for cold, dry snow. Look for these skis to run best at temps below 15F/-10C, but they are fairly versatile and are definitely a go-to option for anyone in the Mountain West. Set this ski up as a cold/universal with our S1.3 grind or extreme cold ski with our S0.3 grind.
- Speedmax Skate Plus - Fischer's Plus base, legendary Plus grind and a universal camber for versatile speed in all temperatures. Keep the factory plus grind and have a ski that flies in mid-range and warm temps or grind with S1.3 for cold/universal or S2.2 for a mid-range speedster.
- Speedmax Skate C-Special - Fischer's special wet-snow ski with clear base. This ski excels in wet, dirty and glazy snow conditions. Pair with an S4.3 grind for really wet snow or work with the factory structure to cover a broad range of warm, wet snow.
- Speedmax Classic 902 Plus - Fischer's 902 mold is legendary as a klister and warm hard wax ski. The shape of this ski paired with the plus base makes it fly in a broad range of warm conditions from moist to wet snow. Pair with a C2.2 or C4.2 grind for hard wax and C4.2 for klister/hard wax use.
- Speedmax Classic Cold - This ski uses the 812 mold and cold base to work well in cold, dry snow in the green/blue kick wax range. Pair with a C1.2 grind to move fast in cold snow.
- Speedmax Classic Plus 812 - This is a 812-mold ski with plus base and a great all-rounder for hard wax and klister. Grind with C1.2 for a cold/uni hard wax ski, C2.2 for a mid-range universal, and C4.2 for a warmer ski that can be used for klister or warm hard waxes.
All of these skis are hand-selected by BNS staff and will be chosen for you specifically based on your height, weight and additional input. A great deal at $499!
