Technologies
Lightweight Expertise
SCOTT completely reworked the Addict RC carbon construction process, drawing on its mountain-bike molding expertise to remove unnecessary material while preserving race-level stiffness and strength. The result is a frame kit approximately 300g lighter than its predecessor.
Precision Engineering
SCOTT's PP Mandrel manufacturing process produces highly controlled inner tube surfaces and transition zones. Strength-optimized tube shapes reduce the need for extra reinforcement and filler, helping lower frame weight without sacrificing structural performance.
Optimized Geometry
The Addict RC geometry was redesigned around modern race-bike requirements, including wider tires and more consistent handling across the size range. The result is a responsive, agile platform for hard climbing, descending and high-speed race efforts.
Comfort
Advanced molding and a redesigned seatpost clamp allow thinner seat-tube walls and greater controlled flex. Combined with the Syncros carbon seatpost and clearance for tires up to 34mm, the chassis is designed to take the edge off long, fast rides.
Syncros IC-R100-SL Cockpit
The integrated carbon cockpit uses subtly flared drops to align with modern brake-lever shapes, improving aerodynamics and control. Refined cable routing and clamping also reduce weight, while multiple stem-length and bar-width configurations allow precise fit setup.
User-Friendly Adjustability
A concealed T25 tool is integrated into the cockpit or bar drop, giving riders and mechanics one tool for key fit and setup adjustments including the stem, handlebar, seatpost, saddle clamp and bottle cages.
