Full carbon-chassis classic boot from Salomon that impressed us last year. The removable, thermoformable liner provides an extremely precise fit that is also very warm, especially for a top-end boot. The carbon shell allows a free-flexing toe for classic striding while maintaining excellent torsional rigidity, making descending and turning easier than with a plastic-soled boot.
