We haven't gotten this excited about a new bike in the shop in a while. But that's what happens when a shipment of the brand-new Bianchi e-gravel bikes shows up! The E-Impulso Gravel is a fantastic option for riders looking for an extra boost on those long gravel rides.
You might be wondering what makes this e-bike so special. After all, it's not like this is new technology at this point. These Bianchi gravel bikes feature a smaller battery pack and motor than many other e-bikes, which means they look sleek and, well, not like an e-bike. There's more to it than just looks, though. Because the motor and battery are so minimalistic, they weigh in at a combined 3.5kg, or just under 8lbs. That means you're getting a gravel bike that actually handles like a gravel bike, rather than a glorified motorcycle weighing in at more than 50lbs.
The eBikemotion X35 PLUS motor unit is located in the rear wheel, which keeps the weight distribution more even and helps smooth out your ride. The 250 Wh battery can easily be charged in 3-4 hours, and Bianchi claims it will last for more than 3,500 feet of elevation gain. That's enough for most medium to long-distance gravel rides! Meanwhile, the Shimano GRX drivetrain and disc brakes keep things feeling smooth and in control.

We're changing up our hours at both our North and South Boulder locations for the fall! Starting during the first week of September, both locations will be open 10 AM to 6 PM on weekdays, and 10-5 Saturdays. Our South Boulder location is open 12-5 Sundays, our North Boulder location is closed on Sundays.
