Regularly clean your bike to prevent dirt and grime buildup, which can lead to premature wear and tear on components. Use a gentle soap or bike-specific cleaner and a soft brush or sponge to scrub away dirt from the frame, wheels, and drivetrain. Rinse thoroughly with water, ensuring no soap residue remains. After cleaning, dry your bike with a clean towel to prevent corrosion. Pay special attention to areas where dirt tends to accumulate, such as the chain and cassette. A clean bike not only looks better but also performs better and lasts longer. Incorporating this simple habit into your routine will help maintain your bike's condition and performance.
Hit the gravel this year! We're excited to offer gravel rentals at Boulder Cycle Sport North and Tin Shed Sports in Nederland. Tin Shed Sports also offers Mountain Bike and Fat Bike rentals.
