The BNS Magazine- Last Call!!
We've put out the BNS Magazine every year since 2008, providing all kinds of insights into products, wax tips, Nordic news, and more. This year, we're going paperless for the first time!
Going digital will allow us to send out five editions instead of one, giving you more of the information and articles you've grown to love over the years. The first edition will come out in mid-October with subsequent issues published roughly every two weeks after that. For those who still want a physical copy, each edition of the magazine will be easy to download and print.
One of the challenges we face by going digital is that our magazine mailing list has only physical addresses. We need your help by confirming that we have an updated email address (and telling your ski friends to update theirs)! BNS Fleet Evaluations
As ski season quickly approaches, now is the time to check that your fleet is up to date and ready to go when the ski trails open in a couple of months. If you're racing, that means looking over the skis you have and deciding what you need to fill in the gaps. Every ski is different, and the more options you've got, the better the chances you'll have the perfect pair of skis for the conditions of the day.
At BNS, we offer fleet evaluations for anyone looking to up their ski game. Nathan and Roger have decades of experience building fleets and picking skis, making them some of the leading experts in the country for building out a ski fleet. That experience has come through years of racing, waxing, and picking skis at the highest level. We also have a flex testing machine at our Boulder location that we can use to precisely mark kick zones and check ski fit based on your specific body type.
If you want your fleet evaluated, send your skis to us or stop in so we can get a better idea of what you're working with. From there, we'll be able to make suggestions for how to grind your skis, what to buy to round out your fleet, or just let you know what you've already got. Doing this before the snow flies is important, as we'll be more likely to get your gear back to you in time for ski season.

BNS Wax Tip of the Week
We get it. Waxing is hard. Like, really hard. That's why each week, we're sharing a new quick tip that you can use at home!
This week's tip: When you clean your kickzone, don’t forget the sidewalls! Fischer designed gliding sidewalls for a reason, and having sidewalls free of kick wax can make a real difference in ski speed. Rode, Holmenkol, and Swix all make spray wax removers that make it extra easy to hit the sidewalls. Otherwise, just use some wax remover on a paper towel or rag. Be careful not to scrub out the markings for your kick zone!

Ignite Your Child's Passion For Nordic Skiing!
The Boulder Nordic Junior Racing Team (BNJRT) serves skiers aged 8-18 in the Boulder area! We offer a summer training program to keep skiers fit during the off-season, with the winter season starting in September. No matter your child's ability level, we provide racing opportunities throughout the state of Colorado with opportunities to travel nationally for those who are interested. New to skiing? Don't worry about it! Our coaches cater to all ability levels, from beginners just learning how to ski to seasoned veterans looking to qualify for Junior Nationals and beyond.

Fall Hours
We've changed our hours at both our North and South Boulder locations for the fall! Both locations are open 10 AM to 5 PM during the week, 10 AM to 5 PM Saturdays and noon to 5pm on Sundays. Boulder Cycle Sport North will open at 8 AM every Wednesday for service drop-offs and hang out after the Wednesday Morning Velo Ride. Our BNS East location in Portland, Maine is open five days a week. Stop by or give us a call today!
