Racing in Sappada? We’ve got your wax and tools covered. Boulder Nordic Sport is offering advance ordering and on-site delivery of Rode waxes and tools so you can travel lighter and focus on skiing fast. Place your preorder with us and pick up your wax and tools at the Sappada venue starting Friday, January 30, 2026 (or anytime after during the event). Orders must be placed by Monday, January 19, 2026 to guarantee delivery. Minimum order $100. Due to event logistics, no returns or refunds are available after January 19, 2026.

What to Expect in Sappada for the World Masters

Cold temps throughout — most days will stay below freezing, especially overnight and in the mountain village itself.

Snow likely or possible — early-February is one of the snowier periods historically in Sappada, with multiple snowy days on average.

Daily swings — highs often near 0 °C to a few °C below, lows in the −8 °C to −15 °C range.
As of January 13, 2026, there is very low snow in the valley where the race trails are located. This means that snow is old and hard-pack, with lots of artificial snow in the mix.
We recommend the following Rode waxes for Sappada World Masters. Rode will be at the race venue to re-supply and they will have waxes if conditions take an unexpected swing. But here are some go-to waxes that you will likely want no matter what:
